The team with the most votes earns travel funds to Nationals, and every other team that makes it to finals in the Team Spirit Contest is eligible to earn a Classic Award.

Teams who attend a Private camp or overnight camp will have the opportunity to earn classic awards by showcasing their team's unique qualities while at camp.

Teams who participate in a DTU Regional Competition will have the opportunity to earn a Level 3 or Level 2 Classic Award depending on the amount of teams in attendance.

In addition to receiving judge feedback prior to Nationals, teams will have the opportunity to earn Classic Awards based on placement.
YEAR-ROUND OPPORTUNITIES TO EARN!
This summer, enter the College Classic Instagram Flight Contest to earn funds to nationals or Classic Awards!

The winners of this contest will earn funds to assist with team travel fees (maximum of $3,000).
​
All Contest participants who make it to the final round are eligible to earn a Classic Award.
​
Winners are selected based on the creativity and uniqueness of their contest entry.
​

Each team who attends camp will be evaluated and interviewed by the DTU Crew members while at camp, and Classic Awards will be given out at the end of the summer to teams who showcased their boldness, authenticity, and uniqueness!

At each Dance Team Union regional and virtual competition, the collegiate programs have the opportunity to earn a Classic Award for the 2024 College Classic National Championship.

Level 3 Classic Award given to highest scoring collegiate routine.

5 OR MORE COLLEGE TEAMS IN ATTENDANCE
Level 2 Classic Award given to highest scoring collegiate routine.

Collegiate spirit programs can enter cheer, dance, and mascot routines to the Collegiate Virtual Championship! Videos are due March 6th, and awards will be aired on March 16th.

Our judges are highly trained professionals in cheer and dance. The Collegiate Virtual Championship is a great opportunity to receive judge critiques before Nationals.
