the rebel award
We are proud to partner with Rebel Athletics to recognize teams at the DTU National Championship and the College Classic National Championship with our “Rebel Award.”
Winners of the Rebel Award will receive custom Rebel Athletic uniforms valued at up to $11,250!
Teams will be selected based on their Passion, Dedication, Teamwork, and Innovation – values shared by Rebel Athletic, Dance Team Union, and The College Classic. Selection will be based on a team’s ability to demonstrate these values through:

Their performance on the floor at the DTU National Championship or The College Classic National Championship

Their positive presence throughout the event (including athletes, coaches, and fans – both in person and on social media)

Their written submission
To be eligible, teams must submit a written statement (150 words or less) answering the question in this form. Submissions are due February 1 for DTU National Championship contestants and April 1 for College Classic contestants.
Terms and Conditions:
By entering your submission, you understand that your child/ward or you may be photographed or videoed while participating in any Dance Team Union event or The College Classic competition. You give us permission for photos and videos of your child/ward or yourself, including your image and likeness and the image and likeness of your minor child/ward, to be used for advertising or promoting Dance Team Union and The College Classic in any media and without limit as to time or territory. You further give permission for photos and videos of your child/ward or yourself, including your image and likeness and the image and likeness of your minor child/ward to be used by Dance Team Union and The College Classic sponsors, in any media and without limit as to time or territory, in connection with sponsor’s sponsorship of Dance Team Union and The College Classic. Such photos and videos will remain the property of Dance Team Union and The College Classic.
By participating in the Rebel Award Contest, you agree, on behalf of yourself and/or your minor child/ward, to allow DTU/The College Classic and Rebel Athletic to use some or all of your written statement, photos or videos, including your image and likeness and the image and likeness of your minor child/ward, in the selection process and in any media related to Dance Team Union, The College Classic, the Rebel Award, the Rebel Award Contest, or the competition, including but not limited to social media and live coverage.
